Hello!

I’m Živa

A freelance Web Consultant based in Washington State. I work with authors to establish, expand, and improve their online footprint.

Right now, this little enterprise consists of just me, despite what the royal We would have you believe.

I began tinkering with creating basic HTML websites in middle school, and had already created my own website by the time I interned at Coffeetown Press. I was only there to read and evaluate manuscripts, but they had a lot of senior authors with no web presence whatsoever and they asked me if I knew anyone who could build websites for them. Talk about fortuitous timing! That was nearly ten years ago now, and I still have clients from that fateful interaction.

Živa is a magician when it comes to websites. I’d been struggling to re-do my ancient and blahish and dated blog, and then I found Živa. She rebuilt the blog from the first line down. It’s now a complete picture of me as a writer, teacher, novelist, poet. Forever grateful to Živa for her expertise and her speed.

Jack Remick, Author

I've been using Živa's services for several years now. As a decidedly-low tech person, I need someone operating my web site who is both helpful and explains things at a basic level. Živa checks both of those boxes, plus she always provides a quick turnaround on any work that needs to be done. In several ways, she's made the last several years much easier for me.

Kevin R. Doyle, Author

Bright. Dedicated. Honest. Creative. That’s Ziva Gronostalski. We’ve been working together for a year and a half. When I have a problem, Ziva has a solution. If I get flummoxed by the Web, Ziva bails me out. She is remarkably patient with old people.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s your availability like?

I reply to emails within 1-2 business days. I take the Sundays off.

Do you only make websites for authors?

I have the most experience with author websites, but I can build a website for any business or even a personal blog.

How much is it for a brand new website?

Hosting is $110/Year and the Domain $20/Year. A simple website using an existing theme with a main landing page, about page, a book page, and your contact and media kit page will cost you an additional $300. A custom Divi -built website has a variable cost depending on the complexity of what you want.

What if I don’t know what I need?

Talk to me about you want the website for, and I’ll help you figure out what it needs.
