That’s Ziva Gronostalski.
We’ve been working together for a year and a half. When I have a problem, Ziva has a solution. If I get flummoxed by the Web, Ziva bails me out.
She is remarkably patient with old people.
Ziva built my first website—robertjraywrites.com—the focus back then was Senior Tennis (spry old people 65 or older still hitting that little yellow ball)—and our goal was promoting my tennis prose—writing about senior tennis—which helped sell multiple copies of my tennis memoir, Play or Die: Senior Tennis and the Art of Spin.
Now we’re shifting from Senior Tennis to rewriting the novel—and Ziva’s agile brain re-positioned the website, making it ready for the new direction and a different (and much wider) audience.
Ziva is politic.
She is flexible.
She is quick, with a marvelous sense of humor.
And she understands the complex multi-layered approach needed for writers (some trained and schooled, others self-taught—avoiding school, counting on their talent, perfect targets for the False Novelistic Guru-Gods of the Internet).
These hopeful writers follow their own Holy Grail—but they still need guidance.
Without Ziva, that guidance would not exist.Ziva is amazing.
Ziva: your blog looks good. I ran through some of the links to see what other writers have to say. Looked through Services and Resource links. I like the straightforward, clean design, the clear images, and good instructions. You’re up front with what you offer. To me, the appealing aspect is the clarity–no clutter–lots of accessible information for writers. When I hit any link in the Services list, the link defaults back to the Testimonial page.
